Standing desks

For all long-term learners who can no longer / no longer want to sit: We now offer standing desks for loan!

We humans are not made for sitting for hours on end - often more than 10 hours a day. So if you spend a lot of time studying with us and want to work standing up in between to relieve the strain on your back, you can now borrow a standing desk from the reading room desk in Reading Room I.

How do I borrow a standing desk and how do I set it up?

• At the reading room counter on the 1st floor you can borrow a standing desk consisting of four individual parts for a deposit.
