The library of Eberhard Wolff in the UCL Cologne

Thanks to the supporter and patron Eberhard Wolff, the UCL Cologne has a steady influx of titles from the field of "Modern German Literature and German-Language Poetry". For these subjects, works by German authors have been specifically acquired for some years now. The library benefits in particular from private donations, such as the Wolf Book Donation.

Insofar, the title recordings of the submitted works are marked "Modern German Literature" or "Sammlung Moderne deutschsprachige Lyrik", as well as grouped together as a collection in the  collection label "Bibliothek Eberhard Wolff".

In the field of modern German literature, the selection ranges from authors such as Rainer Maria Rilke, Walter Benjamin and Ernst Jünger to Peter Handke, Franz Xaver Kroetz and Marcel Beyer. Kirsten Wulf, Ren Odra and Oswald Egger are represented in the field of modern German-language poetry, but the poetry of Gertrude Stein also belongs to this collection.
