Open Access publications - we pay!
We offer researchers at the University of Cologne and the University Hospital of Cologne many opportunities to finance Open Access costs.
When it comes to financing Open Access publications, the University and City Library of Cologne is the central point of contact at the University of Cologne. In order to promote Open Access, we have concluded contracts with a number of academic publishers and are also a partner of the DEAL consortium. We have been supporting authors at the University of Cologne for many years through our own Open Access solutions and by providing financial support for individual and nationwide Open Access initiatives.
To apply for funding from the Publication Fund, please use our WebApp. You can easily gain access with your uniKIM ID; alternatively, you can also have a temporary access link sent to you.
