Belgium/Luxembourg

From 1949 to 2015, the UCL was in charge of the Special Subject Collection "cultural area Belgium/Luxembourg" funded by the DFG, most recently in cooperation with the ULB Münster within the context of the SSG Benelux. The holdings built up during this period will continue to be available for research; in addition, the UCL is endeavouring to maintain and further expand the focus on Belgium/Luxembourg within the financial means at its disposal.

In addition to the UCL catalogue, the holdings can also be searched via the Benelux Virtual Library (German). The ULB Münster is in charge of the FID Benelux / Low Countries Studies (German) in continuation of the SSC Benelux.

The UCL is also involved in the Working Group on Historical Belgian Studies in German-speaking Countries and looks after its administrative office (German).
