Researching historical sources
Academics and young researchers can use our historical collections for their work. We make our holdings accessible and make them available digitally. This enables you to work comfortably with historical sources. In addition, we offer a high level of personal support.
Current projects:
- We have a considerable stock of medieval manuscript fragments, which are now being catalogued: Fragment Research in the UCL
- The Jesuit Project records provenances, information on the former location of the books and much more in the Jesuit Collection Cologne
Further projects:
- Frontispic and titel image - Meaning Bearer and Design Task of Early Modern Art. A project of the Art History Institute of the University of Cologne, Department of General Art History (German).
- Wallraf digital - discover a piece of Cologne's city history via various digital access points. Weitere Informationen>> Read more (German) >>
