In order to work in the main department library and to borrow books, you need a valid library card (as a card or digital ID). With it, you can pass through the entrance barrier in the foyer and then have access to all the library's rooms.

As a first listener of the University of Cologne please use the digital library card. You will find the (library) user number and the barcode on the back of the UCCard.

All other persons who are German residents can also obtain a library card, but must first register online.
