The Kölnische Bibliotheksgesellschaft supports the University and City Library of Cologne in the maintenance and development of its holdings. The extensive old holdings of the University Library of Cologne include numerous old private collections as well as holdings of the predecessor institutions dating back to 1602. With your membership you express your connection to UCL Cologne and enjoy special events and publications.

The KBG's focal points and objectives are as follows:

the preservation of the valuable old UCL stocks
the subsidisation of current specialist literature for students
support in the realisation of library publications
Maintaining contacts with foundations, associations and sponsors

Your membership fee is 30,- € per year. Students pay 20,- € per year. Make a valuable contribution and become part of a society that is committed to the preservation of unique library treasures!
