Open Science @ USB
As an integral part of the University of Cologne, the University and City Library of Cologne contributes to a free and open academic culture that upholds open exchange, transparency and reproducibility. We are convinced that this leads to better research results and greater social benefit. We also strengthen the public's trust in scientific findings.
As committed advocates of open science, we offer comprehensive advice and support in the areas of open access and research data management. We also organise courses and workshops on topics such as reproducibility and data literacy, and are actively involved in building networks and communities. In order to increase the accessibility and visibility of scientific work, we provide services such as portals, repositories and a DOI allocation service.
The UCL Cologne is a partner of the Open Science Center Cologne (OSCC), which coordinates and bundles the UoC's open science activities.
