FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE PRINCIPLE

Open Access | Monographs & edited volumes

In close cooperation with the university management, the University and City Library of Cologne provides central funding for Open Access monographs. Please note that the funds available are limited and that applications are processed in the order in which they are received. The funding commitment is valid for three months after receipt of a positive funding decision. As soon as the publication fund is exhausted, no further funding can be approved.

  • Dissertations are only eligible for funding with top marks (summa cum laude and magna cum laude)
    • Proof must be enclosed with the application

Cost center: 300102100

The supplier must always be informed that the cost center must be stated in addition to the correct invoice address. This is the only way to ensure direct allocation within the university.

Please always state the VAT number (tax number) of the university: DE 123486767.

  • As soon as we have received the invoice, we will allocate it in the e-invoice workflow. In the case of an invoice split, the own contribution must be approved by the person responsible for the cost center.
