"Zwar treiben mittlerweile Museen und andere Einrichtungen, wie Bibliotheken und Archive, verstärkt die Erforschung von wichtigen Sammlungsstücken voran. Dennoch dringt erst langsam ins Bewusstsein, dass auch heute erworbene Kunstwerke, Wertobjekte oder Alltagsgegenstände Raubgut sein könnten“ (Verena Burhenne, Ausstellungskuratorin im LWL-Museumsamt für Westfalen)
