Climate protest: between art & activism

Discuss with us

At the panel discussion "Climate Protest: Between Art and Activism", the University and City Library of Cologne brings representatives of the art scene and the climate protection movement together on the podium. There will be discussions about protest actions and common goals, but also about barriers and conflicts. The actions of the "last generation" have highlighted the polarization in the social discussion on climate protection. And cultural workers all over the world have long been campaigning for more climate protection with artistic actions. Therefore we discuss: Where do political and artistic forms of protest touch, how can the population be moved to rethink, and what role does climate change play in the art world?
