KUPS: Cologne University Publication Server

KUPS is the central publication server of the University of Cologne and the University and City Library of Cologne. Here you can publish and make available scientific contributions and more in full text.

If you are employed at the University of Cologne, you can also publish your scientific publication free of charge and freely accessible on the Cologne University Publication Server - KUPS for short - in Open Access first or second edition. Of course, your contributions will not be subject to an extra peer review process, but your titles will be widely visible on KUPS, the central university publication server: they will be listed in library catalogues, databases and search engines.

In addition to the electronic submission of dissertations, KUPS is also open for scientific publications of very different kinds, for example:

  • habilitations
  • books and book contributions
  • journal articles, proceedings, reports
  • conference and event contributions / lecture manuscripts
  • publication series

The publication will be published by you in pdf or epub format, and an abstract of up to 2,000 characters is also required. Take advantage of the possibility of publishing on the KUPS server, also to easily exchange information about your work with your colleagues all over the world.
