The University and City Library of Cologne supports the open access project Open Book Publishers.
Open Book Publishers is the UK's leading open access publisher in the humanities and social sciences.
Founded in 2008, Open Books is a not-for-profit, independent publisher. It focuses on publishing scholarly monographs, edited collections, textbooks, critical translations. All titles are peer-reviewed by an independent committee.
Open Book Publishers is supported by academic libraries worldwide.
For many years, the University and City Library of Cologne has been cooperating with various Open Access projects on behalf of the university to promote the free publication of scientific monographs.
