With the University Bibliography project, we document all publications by academics at the University of Cologne. In this way, we make a significant contribution to their visibility - both internally and externally.

KUPS - the basis of the university bibliography

An important building block for the university bibliography project is the Cologne University Publication Server (KUPS), which we have been operating and continuously developing for over 20 years. It makes digital publications from the University of Cologne permanently accessible and visible. In the future, KUPS will also enable scientific publications to be indexed in the form of purely bibliographic data without full text. In this way, the entire publication output of the University of Cologne can be mapped.

Expansion of the university bibliography

After registering once, authors can enter their publications independently in KUPS. Alternatively, central offices such as institutes, chairs or seminars can take on this task on their behalf. The broader the participation, the more complete the representation of the scientific productivity of the University of Cologne will be.
