Better supply of literature for philosophy research with digitized sources

28 - 29 November 2019: The Input-Workshop for the development of the platform "DigiPhiD" is organized by theSpecialised information service for philosophy (φID) in cooperation with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft philosophischer Editionen (AGphE).
(Discussion in German)

At the University and City Library (USB) of Cologne, a subject information service (FID) in philosophy is currently being set up, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), whose core task is to provide the subject community with central and location-independent access to literature and information relevant to research.

The FID Philosophy fulfils this core task by, among other things, setting up and permanently maintaining a reference, research and access platform for digitised philosophical print editions (DigiPhiD) of sources and editions based on modern technologies. To this end, an input workshop will be organised - in cooperation with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft philosophischer Editionen (AGphE) - which will bring together experts on various aspects.

Registration

This workshop is open to the public and all interested parties are cordially invited. There is no registration fee, but we request that you register by 17 November 2019 to mauriege@ub.uni-koeln.de.
