Millenium Studies
The University and City Library supports the Open Access project Millenium Studies - Series Transformation for the Classical Studies.

The project includes open access publications of the series "Millenium-Studien", which is published by De Gruyter. This has already enabled 86 monographs in ancient studies to be published.
The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the German Research Foundation and 36 libraries from German-speaking countries.
On behalf of the university, the University and City Library of Cologne has been cooperating for many years with various Open Access projects to promote the free publication of scholarly monographs.
