Mohr Siebeck Open Historical Science

The Historical Knowledge Research series brings together research on cultural constellations from the early modern period to the present day, in which knowledge itself becomes thematic.

The series, which has now been completed by Mohr Siebeck, focuses in particular on the history of science in the social sciences, humanities and humanities and presents critical and material-saturated studies using the instruments of historiography, sociology, anthropology, media and literary studies.
The series Historische Wissensforschung Essay is an essayistic extension of the series Historische Wissensforschung.
The package includes the 13 backlist titles (2014-2021) of the main series that have already been published but not yet transferred to open access, as well as the two volumes of the essay series. Three planned volumes of the main series are already funded for Open Access.

The University and City Library of Cologne has been cooperating with various Open Access projects on behalf of the university for many years in order to promote the free publication of academic monographs.
