You need
- a smartphone with an authentication app (German)
- Your university e-mail address, i.e. "...@smail.uni-koeln.de" or "...@uni-koeln.de".
Important: First-time registration for 2-factor authentication is only possible from the campus of the University of Cologne (not via VPN)! After successful registration, you can also log in from outside the campus.

Access from a private workstation (Remote Access) is reserved for researchers of the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne. To prove this status, please print out the following form and send the completed application form to the address given on the form. You will receive confirmation of Remote Access and further information on registration by e-mail.
