Electronic collections with retro digitized data
As of now, the Cologne University Catalogue contains references from 15 electronic retro-digitized collections (e.g. Digitalisate Visual Library - Digital Collections of the ULB Münster) with approx. 220,000 digitized items.

Note on the database information system (DBIS)
The collection “Oriental Studies and other languages” has been deleted. The corresponding databases are now in the subject “General and Comparative Linguistics and Literature. Indo-European Studies. Non-European languages and literatures”.

The database contains ephemera and official documents on the 2020 presidential election in Belarus.

LitBase is an extensive global literature database with modern and intuitive search functions.

Initiative E-Books.NRW
Through the E-Books. NRW initiative, the state government has made available a total of 40 million euros for the cooperative purchase of e-book licenses by 2023 (in some cases even longer!). Since the beginning of 2021, more than 400,000 e-books from various publishers have been made available to students in North Rhine-Westphalia.
