New database under test

*Education Source Ultimate (trial access until 31 March 2025).
‘Education Source Ultimate is the most comprehensive full-text database for students, researchers, professionals and policy makers in the field of education and pedagogy worldwide.’

Notes:
The licences for the e-book offerings ‘John Benjamins Books’ and ‘Sage Knowledge E-Books’ expired at the end of January 2025 and were not renewed. The best-used titles from both services will soon be available via the Cologne University Catalogue.

Initiative E-Books.NRW
Through the E-Books. NRW initiative, the state government has made available a total of 40 million euros for the cooperative purchase of e-book licenses by 2023 (in some cases even longer!). Since the beginning of 2021, more than 400,000 e-books from various publishers have been made available to students in North Rhine-Westphalia.
