Picking up requested orders

You can order books from the closed stacks of the Main Library and the Department of Human Sciences for loan. Media before 1945 (and some others) cannot be borrowed from the Main Library, but you can order them for reading in the reading room there. You can obtain your interlibrary loans and articles from the Reading Room counter.
Psychological tests (Testothek) are available in the Department of Human Sciences.

Reading room - media and interlibrary loans for inspection in the reading room

Period of loan
As a rule, media can be borrowed up to 4 weeks from the date of loan. Renewals and reservations possible

With interlibrary loans, the issuing library determines the period of loan (as a rule 4 weeks). Renewals and reservations are not possible.

Outside these opening hours, you can return your interlibrary loans to the Reading Room counter up to 15 minutes before the USB closes.

There is no need to return copies of essays.

The use of the approximately 400 psychological test procedures is only possible for members and affiliates of the university and is subject to special conditions (user regulations - German).

Ordering

  • Test procedures and consumables can be ordered in the University Catalogue using a form. If you require larger quantities of consumables, please contact us by e-mail as early as possible in advance.
  • It can take up to 14 days for us to process your order.
