2. IFLA's involvement in the development of the 2030 Agenda
The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) is the leading international organisation representing the interests of libraries and information institutions and their users. It ensures a global presence for the library and information sector.
During the development of the 2030 Agenda, IFLA worked to ensure that access to information, the protection of cultural heritage, universal literacy and access to communication and information technology and world culture became part of the Sustainable Development Goals.
