With the "meineUSB" app, the library card will go digital for UoC students in the summer semester.

• The UCCards will lose their validity from 1 April 2024.
• You will receive your digital library card after registering with your library card number and password in the new meineUSB app  (Android / iOS) or the University Catalogue (under My account --> Overview).
• First semester students of the UoC must first activate their library card with their student account via the website ausweis.ub.uni-koeln.de.
  You will then be shown your library card number, which you can use to log in to the meineUSB app or the University Catalogue (under My account --> Overview). If you do not have a mobile device, we will be happy to help you at the "Library cards & Interlibrary loan returns" desk on the ground floor.

By the way: The digital library card is mandatory for first-time students at the UoC; all other users can continue to use their physical library card.
